عندما اقرت الامم المتحدة ال 21 من شهر ايلول كي يوم للسلام العالمي في حقبة الثمانينات كانت على اليقين بان العالم كان انذاك يعيشون في حروب دامية حيثوا كان اكثر البقاع على الكرة الارضية متورطة في الحروب و الذي راح ضحيتها الملايين من الابرياء
لذا سوف لن اطيل في كتابتي حول السلام وما هية السلام و لكن سوف امتب كلمات قليلة تخرج من قلب مدون متواضع يريد ان يعيش في سلم وسلام ويريد ان يكون ما حوله مغلف بسلام وان يرى الناس اجمعهم بكل طوائفه والوانه وقومياته ان يعيشوا في سلام دائم متحابين مع بعض و متماسكين يدا بيد و متكاتفين في مواجهة الصعوبات و عمل جسر طويل الامد من السلام كي نستطيع ان نثبت للعالم باننا فعلا اصبحنا رمزا للسلام وانا من بلدي هذا بالد حضارة الرافدين وبلد نبوخذ النصر الذي اول من سن التشريعات على الارض و اول من عمل من اجل سلام و انا لي الفخر ان اكون احد ابناء بلاد الرافدين و ان تكون عاصمتي هي بغداد الذي هو دار السلام قديما وحديثا لذا اعزائي واحبابي في بلدي و بلدان العربية وكافة دول العالم عيشوا بسلام
فان في السلام طمانينة وراحة و حسن معيشة
